Publisher Description: The second book in the Rose Years series, the story of the spirited daughter of the author of the beloved Little House series. Rose Wilder, Laura Ingalls Wilder's daughter, is the last of the Little House girls. Going fishing for the first time, starting in a new school, saving the farmhouse from a fire--these are just a few things that happen during young Rose Wilder's first year at Rocky Ridge Farm. She and her parents, Laura and Almanzo, have moved to the Missouri Ozarks to begin a new life.
