Publisher Description:

Taylor and her mother, Ms. Lindsey, have a great relationship. Taylor is quite the inquisitive and bubbly, little girl. When she comes across things she does not quite understand, she does not hesitate to ask about them. She asks her mom whatever questions come to her mind. This was the case after Taylor heard the word 'free'. She asked her mother for an understanding of the word. And just in time.

Shortly thereafter, Taylor encountered a situation forcing her to reflect on what it means to be free and have freedoms. Ms. Lindsey leaves Taylor under the safe, watchful eye of their neighbor, Ms. Sara. Ms. Lindsey feels very safe with their neighbor as Taylor's babysitter since Ms. Lindsey has kept Taylor before. Thankfully, the meaning of the word 'free' prompts Taylor to resist uncomfortable advances brought on when Ms. Sara tries things a different way. Ms. Lindsay noticed her daughter's behavior was somewhat peculiar and prompting a visit from a detective the next day, asked Taylor what happened when she was alone with Ms. Sara.

This book is meant to stress the importance of open parent-child communications, as well as some of the signs of human and sex trafficking to make children aware of.
