He has always had a passion for writing and storytelling, especially children's books. He is a husband of an incredible and supportive wife, a father of two adorable and hilarious boys with a voracious need for books, and an owner of a pair of fantastic furry felines. He is also a die-hard sports fan and can often be found laying on the family couch rooting for the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Dolphins, New York Mets, and Syracuse Orange. Although he didn't play too much with trucks when he was a young kid, his two boys have sure made sure to make up for that.Schachner, Dory: - Dory Schachner is a self-taught artist artist who specializes in animal portraits, natural landscapes, and dream imagery. When she's not drawing, she teaches psychology as a professor at Cal State Chico. She currently lives in Northern California with her husband and many pets. This is her first childrens' book.
