Contributor Bio(s): Sprague, Donovin Arleigh: - Donovin Sprague is an author and historian. He is also an instructor at Oglala Lakota College and Black Hills State University, and Director of Education at Crazy Horse Memorial, all in South Dakota. A descendant of Chief Hump, and family descendant of Chief Crazy Horse, he is an enrolled tribal member of the Cheyenne River Sioux. He has written three other books for the Images of America series: Cheyenne River Sioux (2003), Standing Rock Sioux (2004), and Pine Ridge Reservation (2004). |
