Contributor Bio(s): Nestor, Bob A.: - A four-year navy veteran, Bob A. Nestor attended Bob Jones University his freshman year and later completed a bachelor of arts degree at Calvin College and a master's degree at Fresno State University. After teaching a number of years in Michigan and California, he and his wife, Peggy, joined the Bob Jones University faculty in 1977, where they taught for several years. Currently a writing consultant at Greenville Technical College, Nestor is the author of Images of Baseball: Baseball in Greenville and Spartanburg and Pride of Pageland: The Story of One of Baseball's Greatest Pitchers. |
