She is the author of White Women, Rape, and the Power of Race in Virginia, 1900-1960.Ashmore, Susan Youngblood: - SUSAN YOUNGBLOOD ASHMORE is a professor of history at Oxford College of Emory University. She is the author of Carry It On: The War on Poverty and the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama, 1964-1972.Sullivan, Patricia: - PATRICIA SULLIVAN is a professor of history and African American Studies at the University of South Carolina and a former fellow at Harvard University's W. E. B. Du Bois Institute. She is the author of Days of Hope and coeditor of Civil Rights in the United States. Sullivan has been a consultant on many films and documentaries, including HBO's Boycott.
