He translated some of the best-known German-language writers, including Herta Müller, Elfriede Jelinek, and Hans Magnus Enzensberger. Handke, Peter: - Peter Handke is an Austrian novelist and playwright. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2019. His numerous works include the novels Short Letter, Long Farewell; The Left-Handed Woman; Repetition; Absence; and the play Till Day You Do Part; Or A Question of Light, also published by Seagull Books. |
