Publisher Description:
We live in a savage society of imperfect endings veiled by a thin veneer of civility. "Nothing Is Golden"TM is the brand name for a line of irreverent postcard books and merchandise for adults that parody, among other things, famous children's book brands. Inspired by real life slices of life, the front of each postcard in the books sports an imaginary children's book illustration and title with an accompanying editorial comment on the backside, such as the illustrated cover title, "Punch the Bunny" with the editorial comment, "A Touch and Feel Book for the real world." But you will never need to hide this book from your grandmother. In fact, anecdotal evidence suggests that grandmothers are just as receptive to the content as any other demographic, including moms a good deal younger, realists, such as plumbers, and mature intellectual types, disillusioned by their "real" world experiences.

Contributor Bio(s): , Brooksie Creative Services: - The creative mind responsible for the book grew up on a farm in the Midwest and now resides in New York, NY on Wall Street. In between those extremes, once upon a time, he worked at major children's book publisher where he was a business and legal affairs executive. During the publishing company's final struggle to survive, as it laid-off people in waves, employees gathered for wakes at a nearby bar. At one such wake, as he contemplated a name for his prospective venture, an inebriated editor responded to another with the remark, "Nothing Is Golden," and the rest, as they say is history
