It also contains a comprehensive examination of petrochemical evolution of submarine volcanic rocks in the Havallah basin. As a result, regional exploration criteria are developed for distal-disseminated Ag-Au environments and their coeval relations with Carlin-type gold deposits. The book also includes three recently completed full-color geologic maps at 1:24,000 scale of the northern one-half of the Battle Mountain Mining District. These maps are of the Valmy, North Peak, and Snow Gulch 7 1/2 minute quadrangles. |
