Hero of the Play changed my life, wrote Richard Harrison in the 10th anniversary edition of that book in 2004. That change has brought two more books of poetry in the 15 years since: Worthy of His Fall and the Governor General's Award-winning On Not Losing My Father's Ashes in the Flood. But all the while, his hockey poems kept writing, rewriting, and reimagining themselves.
