She enjoys gardening with her girls and raising funds and awareness for her favorite #TexasStrong causes. Lauren wrote this book after losing her mother, Dixie Benton Stucky, to early onset Alzheimer's disease, eventually adding her mom's artwork alongside her own to bring their story to life.
