Hardcover, in rhyme with hand-painted illustrations, this is a delightful story about diversity, friendship, social action and conservation. Teachers as well as parents, grandparents and children themselves like the continuation of inter-active dialogue.

Contributor Bio(s): Brodsky, Kathy: - Kathy Brodsky, a psychotherapist, poet, and award-winning author, writes and promotes quality books that are timely, visually exciting, educational and most of all fun! Teachers, therapists and parents use messages in her books to promote life skills and social awareness, and kids themselves request that Kathy's books be read over and over. Themes include: realizing we're all important, the power of friendship, diversity, change, social action, being responsible, safety, fitness, kindness, etc.Cameron, Bennett: - Cameron first met Kathy Brodsky, of all places, in his Argentine Tango class. While he was showing her steps, she was showing him plans for her first children's book My Bent Tree. "Need an illustrator?" he asked, and since then, the two have collaborated on eight books. Cameron also paints portraits and murals, holds a MFA from Lesley University, and has taught drawing and painting at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. He no longer teaches Tango; raising a daughter and son is enough of a dance to keep him busy for now.
