In 2008 he received the Pulitzer Prize for History for What Hath God Wrought. He was president of the Society for Historians of the Early American Republic in 2001 and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He is the author of The Political Culture of the American Whigs and Making the American Self: Jonathan Edwards to Abraham Lincoln. . Cullen, Patrick: -Patrick Cullen (a.k.a. John Lescault), a native of Massachusetts, is a graduate of the Catholic University of America. He lives in Washington, DC, where he works in theater. |
