Publisher Description: Julia wins a science project with a computer graphics presentation of the problems of predicting when Easter occurred down through the past centuries. GF and Brown Dog arrive in Sandy Utah and provide the idea for another computer graphics presentation that describes the shift of the Earth's mantle and the resulting floods. Of course it happens. Sandy moves north to where southern Alaska was with massive Pacific flooding. It's the stone age with satellites, sort of. GF and Brown Dog with Julia settle into the local Library with solar panels, and food from abandoned houses. Survivors follow the solar powered light on the Library roof as a community builds up. An armed attack occurs on Library with GF and Brown Dog winning a short struggle. GF and Brown Dog follow the attackers, stop the leader and locate children and mothers who were trapped on vacation. It's Christmas with a hot meal and a little hope for the children. The phone rings from Denver with news that a missing local Doctor is going to fly back to his fianc e. He arrives with an engineer who understands solar panels.. The mantel shifts again and the town of Library moves south to where west Texas use to be as the waters move again. |
