Contributor Bio(s): Willis, Libby: - Libby Willis, a longtime resident of Oakhurst, holds degrees in English, French, and journalism from Baylor University. The first director of the southwest office of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, she has written extensively about the history and architecture of Oakhurst, and she led the successful 2010 listing of the Oakhurst Historic District in the National Register of Historic Places. For this book, she has drawn on university and institutional archives, private collections, online sources, and the family albums of residents, past and present. Many of the images within have never been shared before. |
