Contributor Bio(s): Kilcrease, Kelly: - "Kelly Kilcrease has had a passion for history since his time in grade school drawing the maps from famous battles of the Napoleonic Wars and the American Revolution. After receiving his BS in political science from the University of South Florida and a PhD from the Union Institute and University in management, he has worked in higher education for more than twenty-five years. He currently serves as an associate professor of business at the University of New Hampshire-Manchester. He has published numerous articles on small business development and business history. The history articles have included subjects addressing the transformation of Manchester's Amoskeag Mill Yard, the economic history of Boston's Long Wharf, Daniel Webster as a farmer, the world's first business incubator and the oldest company in America, the J.E. Rhodes Company. He currently resides in Amherst, New Hampshire, with his son and daughter and can be found in the warmer months biking throughout the New Hampshire countryside.



Yvette Lazdowski's primary research interest is in accounting and business history. She was awarded the Alfred R. Roberts Memorial Research Award in 2013 for her study of accounting history, including extensive research and a doctoral dissertation on the early accounting history of the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan. She is an assistant professor of accounting at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester. She is a member of the Academy of Accounting Historians, a segment of the American Accounting Association dedicated to the pursuit of accounting history. Publications include a 2014 article titled "A History of the Academy of Accounting Historians, 1999-2013." Dr. Lazdowski is a longtime resident of New Hampshire. She lives with her husband in central New Hampshire, where they enjoy outdoor activities and family vacations."
