Publisher Description:
Summer is here, and Finley is getting ready for Camp Acorn She can't wait to make crafts, eat s'mores, and prove that she's tough enough to get back to nature. Unfortunately, she'll be sharing a cabin with Olivia Snotham, who's not exactly the outdoorsy type. When nature calls and the girls get lost on the way to the restrooms, Finley's spooky ghost story comes back to haunt them. As they work together to find a creative way home, Finley discovers that there's more than one way to be tough.

Contributor Bio(s): Secheret, Jessica: - Jessica was born on a spring day in 1978 in a small French town. When she was very young she had strange buddies that were always with her: felt pens, colored pencils, brushes and paint. After several years spent in various agencies of architecture, she decided to give up squares, rulers, and compasses and put her body, heart, and soul into what she always loved--putting her own imagination on paper. She's currently residing at her studio in Paris, drawing for magazines and children's books in France and abroad.Young, Jessica: - Jessica Young's award-winning picture book My Blue is Happy (2013) was included on the 2014 Bank Street College of Education's Best Books of the Year for Children and Young Adults list and the Texas Library Association's 2014 "2 x 2 Reading List," and was chosen to represent Tennessee on the Library of Congress/Center for the Book's 2013 "52 Great Reads" list. Finley Flowers is her first chapter book series. Jessica grew up in Ontario, Canada and currently lives in Nashville, Tenn. with her family, where she teaches elementary and middle school art.
