Jenni was also one of the decade's most award-winning artists. In 2009, she earned a record-breaking eleven Billboard Award nominations. She passed away in 2012. On her forty-sixth birthday, Jenni's hometown, the City of Long Beach, honored her legacy by inaugurating Jenni Rivera Memorial Park. |
