Fairchild is often grouped with the Indianists together with Charles Wakefield Cadman, Arthur Nevin, Charles Sanford Skilton, and Arthur Farwell, despite only being loosely affiliated with the group. Contents include: "Une très douce mélodie", "Le soir parfumé", "L'heure merveilleuse", "Dans la nuit profonde", "L'aimer toujours", "Oh regarde moi", and "Extase".
