We feel Julian's fear of not fitting because of his likeness to the Damselfly. This story ends with Kirsten learning her lesson in not stretching the truth, Dillon and Gabriel learned to get all their facts before jumping to conclusions. Dillon Gabriel and Julian all end up friends in the end. The Caterpillar and the Fairy In this story we have a scared and lonely caterpillar who is afraid of the unknown, in this case the unknown is his cocoon. The Fairy sees his distress and decides to help the little caterpillar, she even goes as far as going into the cocoon with the caterpillar. We can feel the caterpillar's fear of the dark cocoon and the feelings of desertion as he cannot find his family anywhere This story teaches us about true friendship and about facing our fears.
