| Publisher Description: During the second half of the seventeenth century two generations of the extraordinary Klesch family produced hundreds of literary works; they chronicle the hardships of war and exile, and contributed significantly to the development of a distinctive Protestant literary tradition centred in the Zips area of present-day Slovakia.
