Contributor Bio(s): Diepeveen, Jane Lyle: - Jane Lyle Diepeveen, a retired community planner, is the municipal historian for the borough of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and a trustee and past president of the Fair Lawn Historic Sites Preservation Corp., which runs the borough's history museum. Ms. Diepeveen holds a degree in architecture from Washington University and an MS in urban planning from Columbia University. She is active in local historic preservation and civic affairs and served for many years on the Fair Lawn Planning Board, helping to guide the borough's growth. She is also a past president and longtime member of the League of Women Voters of Fair Lawn, having served on its board for five decades. |
