Since retiring and moving to Columbus, Mississippi, he has written Defending the Mississippi Prairie: The Battle of Okolona and Holly Springs: Van Dorn, the CSS Arkansas, and the Raid That Saved Vicksburg. He teaches part-time at East Mississippi Community College. |
