Publisher Description:
Dr. Ponzi is Ms. Stinky's uncle and will use or manipulate anyone for personal gain. He tells Ms. Stinky he has a wonderful job for her. She is very excited, although she has never had a legal job before. Having recently gotten out of jail and having been criminally charged for doing other jobs Dr. Ponzi has hired her for she is reluctant to take the job. After Dr. Ponzi assures her that all is above board she decides to take the job. After all, surely, she can trust her Uncle Ponzi. Uncle Ponzi organizes a "European tour" and Ms. Stinky functions as the tour guide. The characters on the tour are quite "unusual" and some become difficult when visiting London does not result in seeing London Bridge, there is no Eiffel Tower in Paris and no Elbe River in Dresden. This is also the trip where Ms. Stinky has the immense pleasure of meeting, at that time a strait-laced oaf, named Foxy Ferguson. They say the more you know, the more you realize how little you know. Foxy is quick to tell anyone who will listen that he knows everything about everything. Need I oink more Every Village Needs an Idiot Series celebrates the good fortune we have in Canada to always have strong competition for the position of village idiot in every community. In the series we learn about some of the animals that are the strongest candidates for these positions in Victoria, BC neighbourhoods and adjoining cities. Ms. Stinky, Dr. Ponzi, Foxy Ferguson, Luna Tick, Busy B. Ody, Dr. B. Rayne Fixer, Lily Pad, Nipinator, Miss Kitty, Dips Tick and, other characters show what happens when stupidity, a hoggish lack of manners and no understanding of moral and ethics are combined with a healthy dose of arrogance, grandiosity and self-centredness.
