But who is Vanya? ... Was she once involved with Belarusian State Security? Now back in the UK, Bradshaw is unexpectedly approached by the Head of a mysterious Government Security Unit (GSU) investigating why Bradshaw's original investigation had been illegally halted. Was Polina's death linked to a pharmaceutical company run by an unscrupulous Romanian scientist, Dr Dumitru, supplying faulty drugs to 'WHO' for use in African countries?
