Her stories and poetry have received honors from the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and in poetry contests both in the USA and Canada. Jeanette is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and has used children's literature with her students for over thirty years in her role as a Speech Therapist in public schools.
