Young Cool Kidsd Learn Italian has been carefully written with 5-7 year olds in mind by a qualified and experienced foreign languages teacher, with almost 20 years experience in teaching languages to children. This book introduces only a few words at a time, then practises these words in a fun way so as to embed these words in the child's memory.

Learning a foreign language at an early age can be an enjoyable and useful experience, and this book would be a great way for any child to learn Italian.

Contributor Bio(s): Leyland, Joanne: - Joanne Leyland specialises in writing books teaching foreign languages to children in a fun and engaging way. Her varied range includes activity books, holiday phrase books with challenges, special Christmas editions, photocopiable games and stories. Joanne studied languages at University and she lived abroad for almost 2 years in the 1990s. Before she became a teacher she worked in exporting where she enjoyed speaking her foreign languages on a daily basis. She has now been teaching languages to 3 to 11 year olds for almost 20 years. The two things she loves most about teaching is seeing her pupils enjoy her lessons and using her creativity to help them learn. When she isn't teaching or writing another book, she's probably speaking French, Spanish, German or Italian with her friends, trying out a new recipe, swimming or gardening. She's still a lot to learn about growing vegetables, but she's giving it a go, and believes it's always good to learn something new.
