| Publisher Description: This is a collection of Ministerial Shorts. Now, I didn't call them Ministerial Short Stories. The subtitle is on purpose. My particular brand of church growing up didn't allow the wearing of shorts, so even the title makes me laugh. Couldn't play cards, either. And hanging out at the swimming pool could really take away points needed to make it into Heaven As disciples, we tend to gravitate toward the point system for some reason. We need to laugh. As the redeemed, we should be THE MOST HAPPY of folks that are running around Planet Here. Sometimes we act as if it's a sin to grin or like we've been baptized in vinegar and weaned on sauerkraut. If brainless is the order of the evening, then you can't go wrong with this book. |
