Publisher Description:

Is Jesus your Good Shepherd?

Are you a knitter who loves beautiful yarn?

If there is one thing Michelle Dumoulin has learned, her stories touch the hearts of her readers.

When her husband suggested that she write a knitting book, she knew she had to tell a story that was much more than describing how she raised sheep to produce hand-spun yarn. You see, her love for Jesus is greater than all else.

For those who love knitting, it includes some of her original knitting patterns, such as her "Faith" shawl, or "My Love Flows" scarf. For anyone interested in Fair Isle knitting, she designed a hat incorporating Sanquhar stitch patterns. Her love for her animals is deeply felt as she talks about raising sheep with her husband on their Good Shepherd Farm. Michelle explains the steps of washing, carding, spinning and dyeing the wool or yarn to create luxury garments. But, writing Yarns from My Shepherd is a book written from her heart and was inspired by the Holy Spirit.

She shares stories of strength, weakness and courage and the book reviews testify that her stories about Grace, Prayer and Faith do, in fact, inspire and encourage.

- Are you in need of financial miracles?

- Are your burdens too heavy to bear?

- Do you need to make a major decision?

- Do you desire to draw closer to God, have joy in your heart and feel His presence to the fullest?

"Yarns from My Shepherd grew out of Michelle's personal experiences in learning to lean on and listen to the gentle guidance of God, putting your trust in Him and being confident that He will see you through those times of uncertainty."

Each chapter about life on the Good Shepherd Farm is followed by personal testimony about walking with Jesus, Our Good Shepherd.

"The author combines stories of her experiences as a shepherd with spiritual messages and lovely color photos of her work with the wool from her sheep. As a special bonus this inspiring book ends with patterns for knitters that will start your needles clicking "

" Who could deny God after reading this lovely book "

Contributor Bio(s): Dumoulin, Michelle: - Michelle Dumoulin was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts; a sea coast city once known as the whaling city capital of the world. She was blessed to be raised in a loving home as a middle child of six kids. Her childhood summers were spent at the beach with her mother and siblings. Michelle started out in college in the Fine Arts field with interest in textiles, but at the advice of her father, she pursued and obtained a degree in Accounting. She worked in various accounting positions but finally retired from that field and returned to her first love of fine arts and color! She manages her own business called "Goodshepfarm" selling hand-spun yarn and many other knitting or spinning tools. As a single-mother of three sons, she became a born-again Christian nearly 30 years ago. She is currently married to a loving Christian husband. Her father taught her to play guitar at a very early age. Together with her husband, they have spent many years leading special music in the church. Yarns from My Shepherd is her very first book, but at the request of her readers, she currently has two other books in process.
