Publisher Description: When a bullet shattered the window of his second story office and lodged in the ceiling above his desk, Corbin Middleton knew being a prosecuting attorney would invite revenge from those he convicted. Those receiving prison sentences had time--much too much time--to consider how they would exact their perceived pound of flesh and even the score. Follow the riveting story of how dodging fate impacted the life of a man dedicated to seeking truth and justice and what price he paid as champion of the people. |
