He is the author of Translating Buddhist Medicine in Medieval China (Pennsylvania, 2014), Traditional Thai Medicine: Buddhism, Animism, Ayurveda (Hohm, 2015), and Buddhism and Medicine: A Global History (Columbia, 2019) and the editor of Buddhism and Medicine: An Anthology of Premodern Sources (Columbia, 2017).
