. . The author will update and develop all sections, where appropriate, and ensure that they reflect developments/changes in the field, as well as in the new edition of the core text.
. . The author proposes the following substantive changes:
. . Introduction/How to use the Workbook: This section will be revised so that the books concept is more clearly set out to readers from the. outset.
. Learning tasks: All tasks will be rewritten so that they fill one page to reduce blank space in the book and to engage the reader more.
. NEW Learning tasks: Approximately 40 new tasks will be included and will cover topics, such as gender and ethnicity, in response to reviewer feedback, as well as new topics covered in An Introduction to Counselling, 4e, such as transactional analysis theory and contexts of counselling.
. Case studies: New case studies will be included in the Workbook.
. Cross-referencing: There will be greater integration of cross-referencing between learning tasks and the relevant passages in AnIntroduction to Counselling, 4e. .
