His book Generalized Blockmodeling (co-authored with Patrick Doreian and Anuska Ferligoj) was awarded the 2007 Harrison White Outstanding Book Award by the Mathematical Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association.de Nooy, Wouter: - Wouter de Nooy is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is a member of the Amsterdam School of Communication Research and the Netherlands School of Communication Research.
