The author's favorite targets are politicians, recent elections, BREXIT, political correctness, copyright law as applicable to monkey-selfies and soft sculpture (dog poop), and of course EU bureaucracy and its stream of endless regulations (large, small and petty), as well as the Greek bailout with its shabby and harsh treatment of Greece under the guise of a rescue plan.
