Jack is a self-described middle class "mud WASP", whose wealthy girlfriend Holly Chase lives in the town's most exclusive neighborhood. Her father, David Chase, is a fast-rising corporate executive who's determined to thwart Holly's relationship and impose his will over anyone who challkenges him. He reigns over an elite group of neighbors known as "The Four Aces" who embark on a series of disruptive escapades. The narrative cuolminates with a celebration opf Wampum's 200th birthday and a compelling climax which resolves long-standing conflicts. |
Contributor Bio(s): Gordon, Jeff: - Jeff Gordon graduated from Trinity College, CT (BA, English) and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MA, English). During his career he was a high school English teacher, Director of Education and Community Services for the Hartford Stage Company, and a communications and corporate relations officer for two Fortune 100 companies. Renegade WASP is his first work of fiction and represents a career "road not taken". He and his wife live in southern Delaware. |
