Publisher Description:
Description This book captures the beauty of nature. Take flowers for example. They inspire and teach us to be natural; the beauty of being a natural person in order to be a true artist of life. We can go beyond what society would normally categorize as a specific kind of art and get into the human dimension of a true dialogue we can have with others. The art we practice then takes on a much larger and deeper dimension that includes religion. This is reflected in various pages and articles in this book to give us a feeling of oneness in nature, art, and religion. I like listening to people who can express the art of their life that allows me to enter their life. If our art is truly universal then we should be able to communicate it no matter what form it takes. The book includes many of the artworks I've created over the years, but it also gets into subject matter that opens our minds to a hidden potential that lies buried within the soul of all people, in that it needs exposure we can learn from. For we are all students when it comes into the "Artist of Life" - students of life itself. About the Author: I became a Buddhist when I met the Teacher. It was not so much of my becoming a Buddhist, but rather of my listening and hearing the teaching of Gautama Buddha as brought forth by my teacher Reverend Gyoko Saito.Meeting him changed my life. Slowly, gradually, I learned the most important teachings that affected all areas of my life which made me think deeply about life itself. My real wish is for people to listen to the Dharma of truth, and to apply it in such a way that they become artists of life, expressing the totality of their life.
