Contributor Bio(s): Shettleworth, Earle: - A native of Portland, Earle G. Shettleworth Jr. has worked in Augusta for more than three decades as the director of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission. He also serves as the chair of the Capitol Planning Commission, the State House and Capitol Park Commission, and the Blaine House Commission. In 2004, Gov. John Baldacci appointed Shettleworth as Maine s state historian. He is the coauthor of four other Arcadia publications. |
