Contributor Bio(s): Hancks, Jeffrey W.: - Jeffrey W. Hancks is the Baxter-Snyder Professor of Regional and Icarian Studies at WIU. He directs the WIU Archives and Special Collections unit, which focuses on the history of WIU and a 16-county region in west-central Illinois. Adam J. Carey is a Phi Alpha Theta graduate student in the WIU Department of History. He works as an intern in the Illinois Regional Archives Depository in the WIU Archives. The book's images are drawn from the extensive collections in the WIU Archives and the WIU Visual Productions Center. |
