Contributor Bio(s): Butler, Mike: - Author Mike Butler has lived in Spanish Peaks country for five years, driving the back roads, hiking the trails, and skiing the passes. Trained in geography and history at the University of Nebraska, he has taught in public high schools and was a division manager for Denver Parks and Recreation. Since retiring to Spanish Peaks country, he has been the adult program coordinator for the La Veta Public Library. In this volume, photographs gathered from local museums, libraries, and private collections bring the exciting history of Spanish Peaks country to life. |
