Contributor Bio(s): Helton, Gary: - More than 200 vintage photographs most of them from the private collections of current and former Highlandtown residents fill this volume, which was compiled in response to the enthusiastic reception that followed the 2006 release of Images of America: Highlandtown. Author Gary Helton s own Highlandtown roots date back to 1905. He has been general manager of WHFC-FM in Bel Air since 2000. In addition to the previous Highlandtown publication, he has compiled three other books in the Images of America series: Dundalk, Sparrows Point, and Baltimore s Streetcars and Buses. |
