Previous studies of Barth's Christology have failed to provide adequate analysis of the prophetic office. Through attention to Barth's construction of Jesus' prophetic office, Robertson identifies a key component of the later Barth's theology as well as responding to several recent critiques of Barth's pneumatology and ecclesiology.
