Contributor Bio(s): Sloan, Betsey: - Betsey Sloan has taught gourd carving at numerous private studios, gourd gatherings and basketry conferences from Maine to Florida and west to New Mexico. She teaches her craft at schools such as Fletcher Farm in Ludlow, Vermont; Brookfield Craft Center in Brookfield, Connecticut; and the J. C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina.
