Contributor Bio(s): Fischer, Maggie: - Maggie Fischer is originally from Oregon but moved to San Diego, California, after receiving her B.A. in English from Gonzaga University. The daughter of a children's librarian, Maggie has books in her blood, and relishes the opportunity to write and edit books for kids. She spends her time forgetting to take advantage of the beach, pretending the neighbor's cat is her own, and listening to true crime podcasts that keep her up at night.Jackson, Mike: - After graduating from the Art Center College of Design, Mike Jackson started freelancing for all the major studios (i.e. Disney, Warner Bros.) and has worked successfully as an illustrator for over 25 years. His company "MJ Illustrations" includes a small group of very talented people, with a primary focus on children's books and product package design. Currently located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he enjoys doing both commercial and fine art in the beautiful environment of the great southwest. |
