Hurtado (PhD, Case Western Reserve University) is professor emeritus of New Testament language, literature, and theology at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. An internationally respected New Testament scholar, he is an expert on the Gospels, the apostle Paul, early christology, the Jewish background of the New Testament, and New Testament textual criticism. |
