Publisher Description:

Sometimes the topic of abortion is a controversial subject. This book is not controversial. It is a compilation of actual letters written by mothers and fathers to their children whom they submitted to the abortion process. The letters include the names given to the child(ren) and how they want to honor them by living a good and holy life so as to be able to meet them in heaven when their own life on earth ends. They are letters of apology for not allowing the children an opportunity to experience life on earth and all the love that could have been shared. It gives the reader a glimpse of the reality that the mothers and fathers become pro-life as a result of the forgiveness, mercy and healing they received on the Rachel's Vineyard weekend retreat. It lets the reader see that women who have abortions are not bad women, rather women who accepted the lie that with an abortion their lives will go on as before and that there are no adverse consequences to having an abortion. When they do have a child some years later, it is then that many come to realize what was done in an abortion and a deep sorrow sets in. As the author, I hope this book provides encouragement to people who may be suffering the aftereffects of an abortion whether it has been one year, two years, 10 years or sometimes 50 years, and learn that there are organizations that will help bring about comfort and healing for the lingering wounds in their hearts and souls. I trust they will learn that Rachel's Vineyard is an International program and is a compassionate, non-judgmental program that invites people to come for the healing they long for.
