Contributor Bio(s): Maili, Marianne: - Marianne Maili earned her PhD in The Construction and Representation of Cultural Identities from the University of Barcelona. An American and French citizen, she has been a Spanish Ministry International Mobility Scholar, a Visiting Scholar at the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa, and an Erasmus Distinguished Foreign Visitor at the Josef Skvorecky Literary Academy in Prague, Czech Republic. For twenty-five years she lived and traveled extensively throughout the world while working as model and actress. She has taught at universities and writing schools in Europe and the U.S. Marianne currently lives in Chicago. |
