Publisher Description:
ABOUT THE BOOKThis author has made over five hundred trips preaching and teaching the gospel. As a missionary, he has ministered locally and in other nations. In the course of these journeys, he learnt so many things that they were not taught in Bible schools and which despite being an avid reader, he has not found in books. To light a candle and help others so that they do not repeat his mistakes, he has written this book. One such he counsel against is travelling by land at night. This is worse in places where you have never been before and even where the driver had never driven to before. On one occasion, he found himself traveling from Ghana to Liberia by road and the driver had never driven such route before. The driver for reasons best known to him could not even read or interpret the road signs. To further worsen the case, it was a pitch dark night Of course, the driver not only miss the road, he drove them into a ditch forcing them to sleep in the bush till day break before going to seek mechanics On another occasion, he was travelling by road and it was night. His vehicle driven by a retired police man knocked down a police man on a checkpoint On another trip in Ghana, the driver moving at night rammed into a bench on which sat two policemen at the Suhum-Kumasi junction. If not that God took charge on both occasions, great harm would have occurred. On yet another trip between Benin-city and Calabar, Nigeria his vehicle was forced to stop and park at a safe place till the next day because savages were said even in this century to be conducting a life taking ritual on the road He counsels among other things that night journey should be avoided at all cost. The dangers are not worth the risk and should only be undertaken when there is no alternative. As you read along, you will find so many things that no one told you about earlier but which can make or mar your mission.Happy reading
