Contributor Bio(s): Pakes, Ariel: - Ariel Pakes is the Thomas Professor of Economics at Harvard University, Massachusetts. His research has been in industrial organisation, the economics of technological change, and in econometric theory. He is a fellow of the Econometric Society, and received the Frisch Medal of the Econometric Society in 1986. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the 2007 Distinguished Fellow of the Industrial Organization Society.Piazzesi, Monika: - Monika Piazzesi is the Joan Kenney Professor of Economics at Stanford University, California, and is also the Program Director of the National Bureau of Economic Research Asset Pricing Group. She conducts research in finance and macroeconomics, and is a fellow of the Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Econometric Society, and the Society of Financial Econometrics.Honore, Bo: - Bo Honoré is Class of 1913 Professor of Political Economy and Professor of Economics at Princeton University, New Jersey. He is Director of the Gregory C. Chow Econometric Research Program at Princeton University, and was formerly a member of the Board of Trustees of the Danish National Research Foundation. Honoré is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and conducts research in econometrics.
