Annotation: Read about a boy who was born in Texas just ahead of the Great Depression. His family moved to Avon, Colorado in 1927 and it was a perfect place for his upbringing. His father worked for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad and raised lettuce and peas, so there were lots of things for him to stick his nose into. He must have punched the inquisitive button too many times as his nose was into everything. Perhaps too far into everything, including Lynx and Bears and Old Red Hens, oh my. Read about it all betwixt these covers.
