Publisher Description:

Every emotion of the heart is reflected in the Psalms with words that express our deepest and strongest feelings. They free us to become emotional, passionate, sincere worshippers, giving us an expression for faith and worship. The Passion Translation presents these 150 poetic masterpieces in modern English to convey the depth of our longings and fears, joys and celebration, becoming a mirror to the heart of God's people in our quest to experience God's presence.

Lord, you know all my desires and deepest longings. My tears are liquid words and you can read them all. --Psalm 38:9 TPT

This illustrated journaling edition has Scripture in a single column and space in the margins for personal reflections and creative artwork. On some pages, you will find beautifully illustrated Scriptures encouraging you to meditate on the Word as you fill the images with the beauty of color.

Contributor Bio(s): Simmons, Brian: - DR. BRIAN SIMMONS is known as a passionate lover of God and is the lead translator for The Passion Translation. After a dramatic conversion to Christ, Brian knew that God was calling him to go to the unreached people of the world and present the gospel of God's grace to all who would listen. With his wife, Candice, and their three children, he spent nearly eight years in the tropical rain forest of the Darien Province of Panama as a church planter, translator, and consultant. Brian was involved in the Paya-Kuna New Testament translation project and studied linguistics and Bible translation principles with New Tribes Mission. He is now working to complete the Old Testament of The Passion Translation. Brian and his wife, Candice, travel as speakers and Bible teachers.
